Hi, I’m Robert Stapleford—founder of Stapleford Bookkeeping and someone who’s passionate about helping small business owners gain control of their finances, reduce stress, and focus on growing what they love.

I was raised in a proud military family, which instilled in me the values of discipline, accountability, and service. These principles guide how I run my business and serve my clients. While Stapleford Bookkeeping is based in Knoxville, TN, thanks to cloud technology, I work with business owners all across the country. Whether it’s monthly bookkeeping, payroll, or tax preparation and planning, I’m here to simplify the numbers so you can make confident decisions and keep more of what you earn.

Early in my accounting journey, I discovered how much I enjoy working with small businesses. There's something incredibly rewarding about helping an entrepreneur clean up their books, get ahead of tax season, and finally breathe easier knowing their finances are in good hands.

When I’m not working with clients, you can usually find me hiking in the Smoky Mountains, kayaking on the Tennessee River, playing a round of golf, or spending quality time with my amazing family—that’s my favorite kind of recharge.
